It’s All About People – 35 Years a CEO
In It’s All About People – 35 Years a CEO, Steen Westh Nielsen distils his long experience leading small and medium sized manufacturing and service companies in Denmark, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, into a highly readable guide to management and leadership.
With his co-author Jeremy Verity, he describes his life-story and explores how his background as a Dane helped him manage people “the Scandinavian way”; what he learned from working with people from many different backgrounds; and the techniques of management he developed while building up a highly successful software house in Central Europe.
It is an informative story, that includes lessons learned along the way, which he tells entertainingly with the intention of inspiring managers who today run, or hope one day to run, a small- or medium-sized enterprise.
